Hello people of the blogging world. Long time, no see! So it has most definitely been more than 6 months since I have posted (again). Oh dear. Well I'm back, and hopefully for good this time. I do genuinely miss posting things and what not.
It's nearly Christmas, therefore, it's nearly 2015! Wowza. This year has flown by!

Anyway, I'm going to start off with some of my current favourites and then update yall on the concerts I've been to this year! Sound good?

FALL OUT BOY, A NAKED PETE WENTZ & MEXICAN WAVES!

SO, the night before the one direction concert, I went and saw one of my all time favourite bands Fall Out Boy. I was so so so so excited and absolutely could not wait. They were playing at my favourite venue; Sydney Entertainment Centre. Before the show we went and had dinner at The Pump House in darling harbour, which I highly recommend, and because we loved the food so much we decided to skip the support act...I honestly can't even remember who they were. oops.

Anyways, we go inside, jump in or seats and wait for the show to start. The lights dimmed and me and my friends went mental! No crying though, I promise. It was extremely cool; Pat, Pete, Andy & Joe all came out wearing balaclavas and they opened with Phoenix which I thought was an excellent choice; it got the crowd pumping and really set the standard for the rest of the night.

The one thing I loved about this show was the mosh. It wasn't like the mosh at Ed Sheeran and other shows; it was nowhere near as hectic. They were just people there because they had a love for the music and everyone got that. There was no extreme shoving or people being pulled out because they were being crushed...it was just awesome.

I would also love to give big props to the FOB boys because of how well they connected with us crowd. They were a band who genuinely appreciated us and the fact that we were there for them and they were there for us. They were so fun and energetic and their stage presence was extremely uplifting.

All throughout the night, the rest of the boys would go off and pete would stay on and entertain us. One time he got us to do the mexican wave and most of the other times he would just have fun or give us a really inspirational speech about not caring about what anyone else thinks and just putting the finger up and saying FUCK YOU.

They also had these really awesome, huge black FOB balloons that dropped from the ceiling when they played Young Volcanoes.

What surprised me the most was that they too had a Bstage. This stage is where they performed any acoustic songs they wished to play. We had an extremely good view and it was very raw, stripped back & up close and personal, not to mention intimate. It was great to see them show a more honest and deeper side to their performances.

My favourite part of the night was definitely towards the end where Pete was signing and knelt down and got extremely close to the stage. It was at this moment when everyone in the front of the mosh decided it would be a fabulous idea to rip and tear pete's shirt to shreds. He was then left on the stage bare chested and no doubt bright red. he may have enjoyed it, I dunno. But I certainly was not complaining...noooo way.

All in all, I had a fantastic night thanks to these boys. I have loved this band since I was about 11 years old and it was an absolute honour to be able to see them in concert.
